INSPECTIONS AND SURVEYS

We undertake inspections and surveys on behalf of our clients including banks, financial institutions, investors and ship owners. These inspections are conducted for re-financing vessels, pre-purchase, condition assessment, pre-charter, on hire and off hire. The inspection is carried out by our experienced inspectors worldwide. On completion of inspection, an extensive summary is prepared and forwarded electronically to the client. The report includes class records, relevant plans and photographs as well. Any client specific requirements can be incorporated into our standard report format and fully addressed by our inspector.

Dry docking, Ship Repair Supervision;

Ship visit (Compromising of Sailing with ship from last load port till the repair yard) and preparing repair specifications in consultation with the ship’s superintendent/ Manager.
Shipyard selection (subject to Owner’s approval and on submitting a transparent quotation comparison).
Repair Budget & Planning.
Co-ordinate with Class surveys.
Site supervision so that Ship’s Superintendent Focus stays on other vessels under his belt.
Spares, consumable store procurement.

Project Management
New Building Supervision / Plan Approval

Our site team of Marine Engineers, Naval architects, ship building engineers and coating supervisors have combined experience of building over 60 vessels.EVE International AS provides specialist support services to new building projects from the initial feasibility study through to in-service evaluation and Guarantee claim management.
Provide design support during the building process (for non-class approved drawings).
Plan Appraisal, Design and Equipment Review.
Shipyard evaluation, selection and negotiation.

Site supervision using a team of experienced personnel.

On Board Repairs

We have experienced and certified fitters, welders, diesel mechanics with CDC to sail with the vessel to carry out pre-assigned jobs or they can be engaged on board for certain period to assist ship staff. These onboard repair jobs may be carried out by engaging riding squad to sail onboard between ports or if permitted to carry out repairs during vessel’s port stay.

Modifications And New Installations

We carry out the modifications and New equipment installations jobs with our experienced and well trained technicians. Installation of Ballast Water Treatment plants / Scrubbers are the latest addition to our services in this category. Once the specific modification is handed over to us, we carry out designing, class approvals, installations and commissioning.
